One of the most unique IPOs we’ve ever run at Rally was also one of the quickest sellouts we’ve ever had: “The King Collection” - 10 game-worn definitively photomatched jerseys from LeBron James, all of which marked moments from his tenure as a Los Angeles Laker.  

This meticulously curated selection of jerseys represents moments that will help shape the nostalgia of the future. That nostalgia took another leap this week as LeBron and his son, Lakers 2nd round draft pick Bronny James, took the court at the same time in the Tuesday night Lakers home-opener. 

In his 22nd season, still performing at a level that puts him amongst the most elite athletes in the world, everything LeBron does on a nightly basis has the potential to increase the value of his collectibles and memorabilia. As such, The King Collection was constructed with the flexibility to sell individual jerseys along the way, or add additional pieces to the collection and give investors the chance to add to their position. 

While LeBron has not made any announcement eluding to retirement, the inevitable end of the LeBron Era is getting closer each day. Our goal with this collection is to begin opportunistic exits as that day approaches over the next 12-24 months.
