SHINY THING$ 0149 ✨

A Friday in the Fall Out East

In September of each year, Rally in collaboration with Valve & Piston organize a small car rally through the coast of eastern Long Island, in a 15 mile drive ending at “The Bridge” - the preeminent annual automotive exhibition focused on post-war collector pieces and competition cars. We called it “24 Heures du Montauk,” our take on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the world’s oldest and most storied endurance races in history.

Bringing together collector car enthusiasts from throughout the east coast from all walks of life, each of the 50 drivers represent the modern collector landscape and bring out incredible pieces of art-in-motion to make the drive.

This past Friday, we brought all of it together and embarked on the group drive with some stops along the way for car-talk and catch ups with familiar faces. Each year, this small event amongst friends has gotten bigger and bigger, and 2024 marks the 4th installment simply titled “Quatre,” with a lot of new faces and new sponsors helping its bring this vision to life.

This weekend, in the 149th installment of Shiny Thing$, we bring you some of the sights from coast, with some investment-grade vehicles that may find their way to Rally in the future…

The driver’s edition merch collection is available right now in small quantities in the Rally store, and look out for our next race-inspired IPO coming very very VERY soon…

Special thank you to Daniel Arsham and Arsham Studio, Granite Shares, Sotheby’s Motorsport, La Marzocco, and all the incredible attendees and partners who saw the vision along the way and contributed to make this year bigger than ever.

Until Next Week (and next September 😉 🏁)…
